Day 1: Istanbul Full Day City Tour

Tour of “Sultan Ahmet Center“, the heart of the “Old City” from where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires were ruled.

Hagia (St.) Sophia, one of the greatest marvels of architecture, constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian.

Blue Mosque, facing Hagia Sophia, famous with its blue Iznik tiles and unique with 6 minarets, built in the name of Sultan Ahmet.

Hippodrome, center of sportive (chariot races, athletics) events and political activities of the old city. Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpentine Column, German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating Hippodrome.

Grand Bazaar, Most attractive shopping center and biggest “souk” in the world with nearly 4000 shops selling antiques, jewellery, gold, carpets, leatherware and souvenirs.

Lunch

Topkapi Palace, Imperial residence of Ottoman Sultans exhibiting Chinese porcelain, weapons, calligraphy section etc…

Treasury and Harem sections are not included in the program and are due to extra entry.

Suleymaniye Mosque, masterpiece of Sinan, the chief architect of the Ottoman Empire, built in the name of Suleyman The Magnificent during the 16th. century, considered as the best amongst the imperial mosques.

Day 2 – Troy Tour

06.00 – 06.30 Pick up from hotel in Taksim, Besiktaş, Beyoglu, Sisli, Ortakoy, Bebek
06.30 – 07:00 Pick up from hotel in Sultanahmet, Beyazid, Sirkeci, Laleli, Aksaray
07.15 Pick up from hotel in Ataturk Airport Area
08.30 Have a stop for breakfast
12.00 Arrive in Eceabat and have lunch on the roof of Grand Eceabat Hotel (Viewing the Dardanelles)
12.45 Depart for Troy Tour

Day 3 – Helles and Anzac Sector Tour

08:00 – Gallipoli Battlefields tour starts (Helles Sector)

12:30 – Gallipoli Battlefields Tour Starts (Anzac Sector)

The objective of the landing forces during the Gallipoli Campaign was, after having captured the high ground of the Peninsula, approach Narrows from rear and get control of the castles and batteries on both shores of the Dardanelles.

We start our tour at the Narrows, the narrowest point of Dardanelles. After having a quick look there in order to get the essence of the Narrows, we carry on our tour to visit the landing beaches.

Day 4 – Suvla Tour
